Our female teachers keep their photos off the internet out of respect for their privacy. You meet your teacher on camera in the free trial lesson. Male teachers' portraits are AI-styled from each teacher's own photo. Certificate counts are the certificates published on our student achievements page. Quotes are word for word from Google and Trustpilot reviews or from parents' messages to the academy.
Not sure who to pick? Tell us your goals and we match you with a teacher.

Hear them teach
Two of our teachers recorded a short introduction. Each one takes about a minute and includes a real tajweed example.
Every family meets their teacher on camera in the free trial lesson, so you can hear how they explain before you decide.

Lessons are observed and scored
Our quality supervisor joins live lessons and scores each teacher on tajweed and Arabic accuracy, how clearly they explain, how they correct mistakes and how well they match your level.
A report after every lesson
Teachers write a short report after each class and a progress report every month, which our quality team reviews before it reaches you.
Camera on, every class
Teachers teach from a laptop in a quiet, well-lit room with the academy background. No one else appears on camera. Our female teachers always teach in hijab.
No private contact
Teachers never contact students outside the lesson, never share personal numbers or social media accounts, and never teach our students privately.
Your lesson times stay fixed
Once your times are agreed, they do not change, including in Ramadan, unless you ask. If a teacher's connection fails, the lesson is made up for free.
We ask families how it is going
Every three months we ask parents and adult students how their lessons are going, and we act on what they tell us.
Questions parents ask about our teachers
Can my daughter or I have a female teacher?
Yes. Ask for a female teacher when you book your free trial and we will match you with one. 7 of the teachers on this page are women.
Where are the teachers based?
Our teachers live and teach in Egypt. Lessons are live on Zoom, so they fit families in the UK, Europe, the US and elsewhere.
Do the teachers speak English?
Yes. Arabic is their first language and they teach in English, so children and adults who do not speak Arabic can follow every step.
Can I choose my teacher?
You can ask for a teacher by name or let us suggest one based on age, level and goals. You can also change teacher at any time, free of charge.
What are their qualifications?
All our teachers are native Arabic speakers. Whatever their background, our quality supervisor joins their live lessons and scores their tajweed, Arabic accuracy and teaching.
