Modern Standard Arabic is built on the same grammar, and students who want to speak and write it for study, work or travel can make that the focus. Tell the trial teacher which you want.

No. If you are new to the letters, the teacher starts from the alphabet and builds up reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar from there. No Arabic is needed before the first lesson.

Children have shorter lessons with stories, games and plenty of speaking, and a parent welcome to sit in; see online Quran classes for kids. Between lessons, children aged 5 to 9 can practise the letters with Letter Garden, our free alphabet game. Adults usually choose longer lessons and spend more time on grammar and reading texts; see online Quran classes for adults. Women and girls can ask for a female teacher.

Yes, if speaking is your goal. Every lesson is live with a native speaker, so you hear Arabic and answer in it from the start, and conversational practice can be part of each lesson.

Yes. Heritage speakers often know more than they think. The teacher places you by what you can already do and works on the gaps, which are usually reading, spelling and grammar.

Yes. Some students take both, each with its own lessons and plan. Arabic helps you understand what you recite; the Quran reading and recitation course and the online Tajweed course work on how you recite it.

After every lesson you get a class report: the teacher's remark, a summary of what was covered, the homework and a note. Each month a Student Report sets out achievements, progress and learning objectives. Everything is in English, so you can follow along even if you do not read Arabic.

Native Arabic speakers who teach live from Egypt. They are fluent in English, so every explanation and correction comes in English. We choose them for patience and for explaining grammar in plain words. Read about each of them on our teachers page.

Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes, two to five days a week, at times you agree with your teacher in your own time zone, around school, work and family. Children usually start with 30 minutes; adults working through grammar often choose 45 or 60, so there is time to practise each new rule. The trial is a real 30-minute lesson, not a sales call. Leave your name and phone number in the form below and we will message you on WhatsApp to pick a time. The teacher finds out what you already know, teaches something real and suggests where to start. No card is needed. If it suits you, you choose a plan; if not, nothing is owed.

Every paid month is covered. If you feel the lessons are not helping, tell us before the period your last paid invoice covers ends and we will refund that invoice in full, even if every lesson in it was attended. A refund under this guarantee ends the enrolment. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.

One flat rate for every course: £7 per hour, or $10 or €9. You choose the lesson length and the number of days a week, and the monthly price follows from that. There is no sign-up fee. The full table is on our pricing plans page.
