Teachers qualified at Al-Azhar University

Our teachers hold qualifications from Al-Azhar University and other recognised Islamic institutions, with Ijazah in recitation. Certification is checked before a teacher takes a lesson.

We are not the cheapest academy you will find. We would rather be the one whose teaching you can judge before you pay for anything.

At Quranic Mind Academy, we offer engaging Quran, Arabic, and Tajweed courses for all levels. From memorization to language mastery, our flexible lessons fit your schedule.

What You Learn in Our Online Quran Classes

Every course runs one to one with a native Egyptian teacher, so the lesson moves at the student’s pace instead of a class average. Children start from age five, and adults begin from the first letter every week.

Quran reading for complete beginners

Qaida Noorani and Noor Al-Bayan take a student who cannot read a single Arabic letter through to reading from the Mushaf. Adults usually need three to five months at two or three sessions a week. Children take four to six.

Recitation and Tajweed

Once a student can read, the work turns to accuracy: the articulation points of all twenty-eight letters, the rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween (Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab and Ikhfa), Meem Sakinah, the categories of Madd, Qalqalah, and heavy and light letters. Senior teachers hold Ijazah in the Hafs an Asim narration and prepare advanced students for their own.

Memorisation (Hifz)

Memorisation runs on a written plan with a fixed revision cycle, so earlier portions stay strong while new ones are added. Tajweed is corrected in every session rather than left to be undone later.

Arabic

The main track is Classical Arabic for understanding the Quran, covering Nahw and Sarf. Conversational Modern Standard Arabic is available alongside it. Children learn through games and stories in thirty-minute sessions. Adult classes usually run forty-five to sixty minutes.

Islamic Studies

Aqeedah, Fiqh, Seerah, Hadith, Akhlaq and the basics of Tafseer, taught from authentic sources through discussion rather than dictation. No Arabic is needed to begin, which is why it is often the first course new Muslims take.

How Your Lessons Run

No group classes, no recorded videos to work through alone. One student, one teacher, live.

One to one, and the same teacher each week

Every session is one student and one teacher on live video. You keep the same teacher week to week, with written notes carried forward, so nothing has to be explained twice.

Thirty, forty-five or sixty minutes

You choose the length of the lesson and how often you meet, from two to five sessions a week. Times are agreed directly with your teacher, which is how families in different time zones fit lessons around school and work.

Who teaches

Teachers are native Arabic speakers based in Egypt, qualified at Al-Azhar University and other recognised Islamic institutions, and fluent enough in English to teach a child who speaks no Arabic at all. Male and female teachers are both available.

What Happens in Your Two Free Trial Lessons

Two lessons, thirty minutes each, with two different teachers. No card, no payment details, no obligation to carry on. Most academies give one trial lesson. The fit between a student and a teacher is worth testing twice.

Before the first lesson

You tell us the student’s age, roughly what they can already read, and whether you would prefer a male or female teacher. We match a teacher and send you times to choose from.

During the lesson

It is a real lesson, not a sales call. The teacher works out where the student actually is, corrects what needs correcting, and teaches something. You get to see how they handle a nervous seven-year-old or an adult who is starting from nothing.

Then a second lesson, with a different teacher

The same thirty minutes with someone else, so you have something to compare. Teaching styles differ, and children in particular respond to one teacher very differently from another.

After both

You say which teacher suited you better and pick a schedule. If neither suited you, nothing happens and nothing is owed.
